The podcast shares the work and stories of various visual artists upon studio visits. What’s the motivation behind a certain piece? How an art practice gets developed? How to actually survive being an artist? What’s the role of the studio space? These are just some of the questions asked.
It all started for me as a means to meet more fellow artists. As a person coming from outside of Helsinki, meeting peers wasn't easy. But in time I saw bigger potential for The Visit. Bringing people with similar interests together and relating to others, sharing knowledge and motivation - these goals are turning into a mission.
